Yizhou Yu

Supervisor, Professor in HKU CS Department


Yizhou Yu is currently a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He was first a tenure-track and then a tenured professor at UIUC for more than 10 years. He has also collaborated with eBay Research, Google Brain and Microsoft Research in the past. He received his PhD degree in computer science from the computer vision group at University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a MS degree in applied mathematics and a BE degree in computer science and engineering from Zhejiang University.

Haicheng Wang

Haicheng Wang is purchasing his bachelor degree as a final year student in HKU CS Department. He kicked out his research career from Jan. 2017 and his currrent research focus is computer vision with machine learning. Besides his main research interest, he also spend time on data mining and techonologically driven finiance. His interest includes basketball as well as Go.

Haoyu Li

Team Memeber


Haoyu Li is currently a senior year student at University of Hong Kong(2014-2018) and his major is Computing & Data Analytics in -HKU CS Department-. He started his research career at earlier 2017, and his research interest focus on computer vision with deep learning, especially face recognition. Besides, He is also interested in machine learning in medical application and -experimental design-. He believes the great potential of deep learning in medical application and enjoys doing gym in spare time.
